TCS1 (Turkey Challenge 1)
Members we have revamped our turkey giveaway for the better. We are now allowing everyone to become a part of it. Here’s the layout:
Members are asked to film their own hunts and submit it in to us.
One of our shows will be based on our members and their 2008 turkey season. We will bounce to several of the members’ home ground as they try and pursue the wild turkey.
Requirements are:
1. Make sure you post your name in the forum and let everyone know that you’ll be participating.
2. Regulations and state laws must be obeyed.
3. Best submitted footage will be used for the show.
4. When footage is submitted you’ll be emailed a waiver that will need to be signed. This allows us to use your face on national TV. (Any other person, or persons in your footage need to sign a release to be eligible to win.)
5. Submitted footage must be original mini DV format and be unedited. (You must request that you want your tape sent back)
6. Each member must post their hunting progress/ success once a week when their season starts
7. Members can team up but the winner that is chosen is based on the person that submits the footage, you do not have to be the hunter to win, you do have to be either the hunter or video person.
8. (Please intro each hunt with both the hunter and video person saying their name, state and date along with mentioning Myoutdoorzone.com or Own the Zone TV on camera.
9. After harvesting a bird and doing any cut-aways we need you to zoom up on your tagged birds tag. Where we can read the tag and lay the rest of the license next to it.
10. You can enter as much as you like, as long it is 2008 footage.
The Zone Team will evaluate all the footage and declare one member as the winner. The member with the best footage will receive a Myoutdoorzone.com gift package, a free turkey mount from Cross Taxidermy, and a ticket that will allow you to put your name in the top five selection of the next big hunt giveaway.
All members whose hunts get used on the show will receive a free Own the Zone TV hat. Not all submissions may be used. We will be picking the top submissions.
Second and third place will also be receiving prizes.
